The William Raveis Charitable Fund
Commitment To Cancer Research
At William Raveis, we believe in giving back!
William Raveis’ agents, managers, and employees are all coming together to support innovative cancer research at Damon Runyon and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Everyone is affected by cancer in some way. A few years ago, Candy Raveis, wife of our company founder William “Bill” Raveis, was diagnosed with acute myeloma leukemia. After decades of supporting breast cancer research, the William Raveis Charitable Fund (WRCF) broadened its commitment to funding research to find a cure for all forms of cancer. Our strong partnership with the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has helped raise public awareness in addition to over $4M donated to these preeminent organizations.
We began in 2015 with our novel William Raveis Ride + Walk, an annual event that generated tremendous participation, drawing crowds of people every fall. There were exciting raffle prizes, along with large groups of walkers, cyclists, and music to make the day memorable for all ages. As successful as it was, our team is driven to reach more people across our company’s footprint at the local level. Today, WRCF hosts nearly 70 events annually and is growing.
Together, we have raised over $4M for cancer research!
100% of these funds directly support scientists on the cutting-edge of cancer research.
Winning the fight against cancer takes commitment from neighbors, business partners, town halls, and local establishments. We invite everyone to join our effort and attend one of our local office events held throughout the year. Our famous chili cookoffs, live music, concerts on the town green, comedy and pickleball nights are just some examples.

Meet Our Partners
Founded in 1946, Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation provides funding to brilliant scientists, those who are making significant strides in cutting-edge cancer research and therapy. All monies go directly to innovative cancer research; the organization covers its own administrative costs.
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute dedicates itself to providing the best treatment to adults and children with cancer and developing a cure for cancer through groundbreaking research.
We deeply appreciate the fruits of our collective effort. According to the recent statistics from the CDC, cancer deaths continue to decline nationwide, in large part due to better screening methods and earlier intervention. We applaud the brilliant scientists behind this success and look forward to more exciting breakthroughs in cancer research in partnership with Damon Runyon and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
